Perfume Making Essentials

Service Description

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of perfume making, discuss and explore essential oils and fragrance oils, and then create your own custom 1 oz perfume spray. No experience necessary! In this workshop, you'll create two personal fragrance items, including a custom perfume spray (eau de toilette) and a rollerball perfume oil. We’ll start with a quick Perfume 101 and discuss some basic principles of creating a perfume and you’ll have the chance to create a practice blend. Then, you’ll create a blueprint of your formula and create your personal, custom perfume. At the end of the workshop, you'll have your own duo of perfume essentials to wear on their own or layered as you please! Whether you love ultra-feminine florals or prefer something more earthy, this workshop is the perfect way to experiment and discover what scents suit you best. Expect a beginner-friendly approach to the complex art and science of perfume making, designed to ignite your creativity through your strongest sense - your sense of smell! With Sarah of Camp Disco Perfume Experiences (@campdiscolife) Camp Disco Perfume Experiences are designed to help you DISCOnnect and discover a playful approach to fragrance and self-care. Founder Sarah McDaniel has hosted over 1,000 blending sessions in the Los Angeles area since 2017, with activations at BeautyCon, The Bloc, Athleta and Unique LA.

Cancellation Policy

Our Policies: Please arrive 10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time. If you are more that 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class. You may cancel for a refund up to 20 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable. You may reschedule for a different workshop up to 15 days before the workshop, and up to 7 days if for the same workshop within the following 3 months. We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. We will inform you at least 24 hours before the workshop if there is cancellation due to low registration. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund. If we have no registrations up to 7 days before the workshop, unless otherwise noted in the description, we may cancel or reschedule. Please book in advance or let us know you're planning to book. Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive. If you are sick, please stay home. Call or email to let us know that you are not coming. You will receive a credit for a future class. By signing up for a class or workshop hosted by Small Space Art Collective you agree to the terms and conditions stated here. You hereby release Small Space Art Collective or any person or persons acting on its behalf from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or participating in an activity sponsored or hosted by Small Space Art Collective. Furthermore the undersigned agrees that in the event medical attention is required due to accident or illness, Small Space Art Collective shall, without accepting fiscal responsibility, seek such medical services as it deems necessary and appropriate through EMs/911 and/or local hospitals.
