Service Description

Bundle dyeing is all about extracting color from different dyestuffs. In this intimate class you will learn how to use flowers, food and plants to make a gorgeous wearable work of art. You will also learn the importance of proper fabric preparation and different types of mordents. Each participant will bundle dye a silk scarf and a bandana. Group is limited to 8 participants. Get your tickets today! For adults and teens when accompanied by an adult. Rachael Duran is the owner/maker at thunder textile. Her interests include macrame, printmaking, marbling, and knitting but her true passion is working with dye. She’s a self taught dyer and works exclusively with natural fiber textiles. Whenever she’s not starting a new project or tackling a new craft she’s having fun with her husband and daughter.

Cancellation Policy

Our Policies: Please arrive 10 minutes early for your workshop. Workshops start on time. If you are more that 15 minutes late for your class, you may forfeit your chance to take the class. You may cancel for a refund up to 20 days before the workshop. After that, workshop fees are not refundable or transferable. You may reschedule for a different workshop up to 15 days before the workshop, and up to 7 days if for the same workshop within the following 3 months. We reserve the right cancel or reschedule a workshop with fewer than 4 sign ups. We will inform you at least 24 hours before the workshop if there is cancellation due to low registration. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you will receive a refund. If we have no registrations up to 7 days before the workshop, unless otherwise noted in the description, we may cancel or reschedule. Please book in advance or let us know you're planning to book. Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive. If you are sick, please stay home. Call or email to let us know that you are not coming. You will receive a credit for a future class. By signing up for a class or workshop hosted by Small Space Art Collective you agree to the terms and conditions stated here. You hereby release Small Space Art Collective or any person or persons acting on its behalf from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or participating in an activity sponsored or hosted by Small Space Art Collective. Furthermore the undersigned agrees that in the event medical attention is required due to accident or illness, Small Space Art Collective shall, without accepting fiscal responsibility, seek such medical services as it deems necessary and appropriate through EMs/911 and/or local hospitals.
