About the event
This workshop is designed to guide you through the process of creating your own Mala inspired beads while infusing them with your intentions and aspirations.
These beads are designed without the knots of traditional Mala Beads, and with an elastic cord which makes them easier to create and more comfortable to wear wrapped around the wrist.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the significance and traditional use of mala beads, as well as tips and suggestions for how they can be used less traditionally. We then explore the meanings of the stones used in this workshop, which are moss agate, dalmatian jasper, and Amazonite. These stones are known facilitate new beginnings, grounding, clarity, and inner strength.
Before we begin making our beads, we are guided through a visualization meditional which serves as a tool for centering ourselves and envisioning our dreams and aspirations. Following the meditation we take a few moments to write down our intentions on the keepsake card provided.
Under the guidance of your instructor, you'll be led step by step in creating your beads. No prior experience is necessary. As you string each bead, you'll infuse it with your intentions, embedding your personal energy into the beads.Â
Once everyone has completed their beads, we take a moment to share our experience and intentions within the supportive workshop environment. This allows for meaningful connections and the opportunity to inspire and be inspired by others on a similar path. This is optional if you prefer to keep your experience and intention private.
To conclude our gathering, we engage in a brief breahting exercise, bringing the sense of closure and unity to the workshop experience.
As a memento of your journey, you'll receive a fabric pouch to protect and carry your beads and your keepsake card, a tangible reminder of your intentions and the meanings behind the stones.
Join us for a profound and soul-nurturing New Moon Mala Beads Making Workshop, where you'll create a piece infused with your intentions, connect with like-minded individuals, and leave with a tangible symbol of growth and dreams.
Limited to 6 participants. Suitable for adults and mature teens.
Registration closes at midnight on November 8th.

"I have only attended the Fiber Club and Marbling Workshop so far am so inspired!! Small Space Collective is such a treasure in our town. San Clemente has been needing something like this for a long time. The two women who run this studio have an incredible vision. They are building a wonderful community of artists and crafters who can share and learn from each other."

"Small Space Collective is such a gem!! I was so happy to find a place to go do small artsy projects. I love that you don't have to sign up for multiple weeks but that you can just pick the workshops that you would like to go and it's easier with me with my schedule that varies all the time. I am already signing up for the next fun workshop."
