About the event
Learn the art of Linocut!
Linocut is a type of relief print created by carving a design into a printing block. It is the uncut surface that gives you an image when rolled with ink. The inked block is printed one at a time with an etching press. So many things can be printed such as cards, tea towels, t-shirts, and beautiful papers to create unique pieces of art.
This class is an ongoing class that explores all the various techniques used in linocut printmaking. The process is really fun and Can be used to create multiple images of the same print. You can also make one of kind images by embellishing your print and by painting on it. The possibilities for exploration are endless!
The class is open to everyone from beginners to people who have practiced printmaking.
Class size limited to 5.
Please RSVP and we will contact you with information about payment options.

“This embroidery class was perfect! The space is inviting and sparks creativity. Cecilia is a skilled and effective teacher. She provides you a cute little kit with everything you need! Incredibly grateful for Cecilia to hold the space for some therapeutic making time, community, and skills that I can take with me. Thank you, thank you!

"I have only attended the Fiber Club and Marbling Workshop so far am so inspired!! Small Space Collective is such a treasure in our town. San Clemente has been needing something like this for a long time. The two women who run this studio have an incredible vision. They are building a wonderful community of artists and crafters who can share and learn from each other."

"Small Space Collective is such a gem!! I was so happy to find a place to go do small artsy projects. I love that you don't have to sign up for multiple weeks but that you can just pick the workshops that you would like to go and it's easier with me with my schedule that varies all the time. I am already signing up for the next fun workshop."
